Life at the College does not end at the laboratory door. Student associations give members a voice in College affairs and a way to build the habits — service, leadership, teamwork — that healthcare practice asks for.

Membership is open to registered students and is free unless an association charges its own dues. Details of meetings are posted on the College notice board and in the student portal at the start of each semester.
A group of students may apply to the Head of Student Affairs for recognition. The application should set out the purpose of the association, its proposed officers and a draft constitution. Recognised associations may use College facilities and hold events on the academic calendar. Students wishing to form a new association submit a written request to Student Affairs setting out its purpose, its proposed officers, and a member of staff willing to serve as patron. Where the request is approved the association is registered for the session and may use College facilities for its meetings.
